Presencing is an album of inviting webs of harmony that act as slowly changing background to playful and calming melodic phrases. Use of vibraphone and piano is prominent, as well as specialized hardware. An example of "Stereo Mandala Music" designed to entrain the listener with the gentle waves of melody and harmony in omnidirectional or "mandala" compositions.

With titles like "Honor One Another", "Imbolc" "Love is Divine Power"and "Pramahansa", Kalin is clearly orienting this work from an emotional, spiritual, even mystical basis. The concept of "Presencing" is taken from astrologers and integrative thinkers of our current day. It means to see our humanity, culture, economy, nature, and planet as co-created, and manifested by the current nature of our awareness, being, and "presence".

With seven sweeping pieces totaling over an hour of music, this CD is an excellent background for therapeutic or dynamicly calm activities.
